We came up with creative ideas and different competitions.Essay Writing, CV Writing, Video Editing Competition,  job interviews and special assignments. By doing this, students get to enhance their communications and presentation skills.

 

Winners are highly rewarded. 2014

winners were offered a trip to Nairobi, hosted by the Slovak Ambassador to Kenya H.E Dr. Michal Mlynar. They

visited UN Headquarters,  iHub, United States International  University (USIU)  and the Slovak Embassy.

 

STUDY TRIPS TO SLOVAKIA.

Kenyan teachers visited Slovakia schools twice, First in April and later in November. Great exchange of ideas with their colleagues, getting to learn new teaching approaches. They also attended  Bratislava trade fair organized by Slovak Centre for Training Firms.

We are partnering with iHub, (a program of the oldest startup hub in Africa) Outreach program for the next school year. Since January 2015, we have organized three day boot camps for our student members facilitated by our newest partner iHub http://www.ihub.co.ke

Sote ICT Hub to mentor graduates and support startups:

Our next big goal is to create a startup hub in Voi town end year 2015 to support our graduate students. 

In our Sote ICT Hub, we also plan to introduce more advanced technical competences, such as digital fabrication, robotics, coding and incorporation of real startups.
